ポールスミスのブログにも書いてあったアンティーク雑貨　　　　　　お隣もクリスマス一色。小物が可愛くてたまらない。　　　　　　　　　のお店。雰囲気も、置いてるものも、最高に好みだった。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

こんな素敵なお店が家から徒歩15分くらいであるなんて。

凝っていてかわいい。誰のプレゼントでしょ～う？

The Walk Cafe, Nottingham



A gorgeous cafe "The Walk" down in a
small ally in the centre of Nottingham.

日本みたいなこんな可愛いカフェがあるなんて知らなかった！
店員さんはメイドカフェみたいな格好してた。
イギリスでは珍しく食べ物よし、サービスよし、
値段まぁまぁ、な素敵なお店でした。
絶対にまた行きたいです。



We enjoyed a perfect afternoon tea!!
下から上まで、みんなでアフタヌーンティーを楽しむ。



Every plates, cups and teapots were all different, like an antique collection.
お皿やカップやポットまで全部バラバラで不揃いで、みんなで「私これがいい！」って。



Teaの種類も豊富。ケーキも紅茶も最高においしかった・・。幸せ！

things around nottingham. ノッティンガムの街にて、あちこち

so this little city of nottingham is small, and incomparable to shinjuku or shibuya in Japan.

But i like the old buildings and old doors and old windows. slopy(?) roads and

bending streets. it has character and i much prefer it than neon lights and

glass/concrete buildings. And it does look like they only have topshop and zara

and h&m just like any other city, but there are the oddlittle shops if you look carefully.

ノッティンガムは小さな街だけど、古い建物が不揃いに並んで

坂道やうねうね道が入り組んでいて、いい味のある街です。

一見、お店はチェーンばっかで特別なところなんてなさそうに見えるけど、

あちこち歩き回ってみると思いがけない可愛いものやおしゃれなところがある。

でもすごくおしゃれだから写真撮った。ガランとしてて、
入口にはカフェがあっておじさんがコーヒーを飲んでた。

床屋さん。お客さんいた。

 This is one of my favourite shops, im not sure the name of it, but they sell little things,

deorations, crafts, toys, cards, gifts, etc. i think its near the first paul smith shop.

ノッティンガムでは（というかイギリスでは？）珍しい

可愛い雑貨屋さん。なんでも売ってて商品の入れ替わりは結構速そう。

とにかく飽きない。色んなデザインのドアノブまで売ってる！

 Little pouch, so cute.. but they were gone when i went there a few days ago..:(

くるみボタンがついたポーチ。しかも一つ一つ生地が違うくるみ・・。

欲しかったけど高かった＆もうなくなってた・・！

but i did buy these little decorations for myself.

small balls, golden robin and a beautiful x'massy ribbon. i'm a collector of ribbons!

このデコレーションは買えた！家に飾ってます。初のクリスマスデコレーション♪

 I loved this little space. it had amazing antique drawers and

cabinets where they had 'Small Collections' by number of artists.

 Small jewellery, pretty, wierd things.

お店でのクリスマスパーティーに招待れました。

私なんかが・・って思っちゃう。本当にポールに感謝！

 After the lecture, we all went to his flagship shop for some drinks and mince pies!

これがノッティンガムのお店、フラッグシップショップ！

フラッグシップはだいたいロンドンにありがちだけど、ポールはノッティンガム出身なのです。

　　　

サインしてくれました。油性ペンまでちゃんと用意してくれて・・

写真も撮ってくれた。ポールは本当にファンが大好きで、

お客さんが大好きなんだろうな。前も会ったんだけど、覚えててくれた！

サインもおしゃれ。これがそのままショップのロゴになったのね。

my little blog in nottingham

So, well i wanted an official place to put pictures related to my MA work,

or any other inspiratinal things i see or read or meet or bump into, i decided to start this blog!!

i hope everyone, 日本にいる友達も私がここでどんなことしてるか伝わるといいね、

my friends in other places of the world,will be able to get the idea of whats

going on inside my head,and hopefully, I will get it aswell. lol

its gonna be a mixure of japanese and english, so bear with me..

one day, i will make my own website...with a help from someone probably:p

since my PGD phase presentation is now over,

im already struggling to remember what my project was even about (lol)but im

gona try to keep it up and running during the holidays. the one thing i really wanna do

 is sketch. Anything. Sketching really helps the engine going, not to mention

the imagination and creativity. I wana sketch the body, the garments,

the everything. buildings, trees, my bedroom..etc. and its one of the things

that clearly improves in a short time. its amazing how you can look back

at the work of maybe just 5 days and you start to realise you've improved,

or you like it, or looks good.

ive had some exciting events in the last few weeks

(like the paul smith thing..) so im gona go back to those and write it here.

aah too sleepy. (yawn yawn....
